One of the most spectacular views along the 542 corridor:)
Although it starts quite low, the trail goes to 2000m, so on our way down expect some nice skiing, albeit probably slushy due to high temperatures in the forecast.
The first 3.5km would be boot packing to the snow line(1300m), so you could bring some hiking boots for this portion.
Please be considerate and do NOT sign up unless you are 100% committed for the trip and you are at least an intermediate skier in the Backcountry. If in doubt about your capabilities send me a message and we can talk about it:)
Will be moving at moderate-fast pace, so if you are a slow skier this trip might not be for you.
There is a steep portion, a ridge towards the peak, that might require ski crampons, but even without crampons you should be able to bootpack it.
MUST have :
AST1 training
Shovel, probe and avi beacon
Ski crampons- good to have
Food and water for the whole day
First aid kit!
Ski Helmet
