I’m looking to take a Trad Climbing Course with Vancouver Mountain Guides and I’m hoping there might be other BCMC members that are in interested in taking this course as well. You don't need to know how to lead climb, but should have some outdoor rock climbing and belaying experience.
You'll learn everything you need to go trad climbing safely on your own including: bolted and trad anchor construction, protection placement and removal, equipment selection and use, lead theory, belaying a leader, belaying a second, common hazards, fall line management, cleaning anchors, and rappelling.

- 5 Locking Carabiners (pear shape)
- 2 x Double length sling (120cm)
- Cordelette (5m x 7mm cord)
- 6 x Quickdraws
- 4 x Alpine Draws (60cm slings)
- Rack (cams & nuts)
- Rope 9.2 -9.8 x 60m
