Basic outline:
I hear through the grapevine that some of the Blackcomb near-country classic lines are already in, specifically Husume. Let's go on an exploratory mission to see if the news is true. Registration delayed until T+3 @ 5pm so I have an opportunity to read the AvCan public bulletin first.

Mandatory equip:
Skis or split / boots / poles / skins / all that good stuff
Beacon / probe / shovel
Headlamp / 1st aid / tools & spare parts for your setup
Lunch / drink / appropriate clothing / spare layers and gloves
Sunnies / goggles
A pass of some sort to access WhistlerBlackcomb lifts

Meetup and logistics:
06:30 meeting at the rear parking lot of St. David's Church, West Van. 06:35 departure. I can drive me+3 if we don't have much gear; me+2 if we do. Returning to West Van at whatever time we end up back there. 17:00? Later if we stop for burritos on the way home.
