St. Davids' Church in West Van. just off Taylor Way and the Upper Levels Hwy.
The is a beginner friendly trip, but you should know how to use your gear and have a shovel, probe and beacon, and know how to use them. We will meet at St. Davids Church in West Van at 7:00 am on Sunday. The trail up to high point follows an old road and is an easy ski. At high point there are a variety of runs of in the glades and gullies. You can do as many laps as your legs can handle. We will aim to leave around 3:00, and be back to West Van by about 5:30. We may stop in Squamish for a coffee at the end of the day. The runs vary from easy to expert. The Diamond Head road does not have much snow on it, but 4WD is preferable and to go all the way to the upper parking lot you do need chains.
