We'll drive up Furry Creek Main until we get stopped by snow. I have a key to the gate. Skis or snowshoes are permissable. Beacon and shovel required.
The weather forecast for Saturday calls for light snow showers and a FL 1000 meters but the snowpack is thin lower down. We'll make the best of it but there could be some hiking required. I suggest bringing hiking boots.
If it looks like the Furry Main will be snowed in down to the highway we may change the destination to Harvey Pass above Lions Bay. Either way, bring some hiking boots and straps for your skis in case we need to walk to get to snow.
Please bring cash to compensate drivers (no e-transfers). Bring up to $30 but the cost may be less depending on numbers.
