We will drive up Furry Creek road as far as we can go. The road might be snowed in down low in which case we might drive to Conroy Creek as an alternative. Assuming we go up Furry Creek, the skiing portion will be on cleared road for a 3 to 9 km. The ski route traverses some steep slopes beyond the road for 1 km to reach Wind Lake. From there, a couple of km of up and down brings us to the hut.

Be prepared for early season conditions for skiing. You should have strong intermediate skiing skills at a minimum. I'd ask that participants bring a beacon and shovel. We'll take an easy to moderate pace.
