The plan is to ski into an area where we can get a day or two of decent turns over New Years.We will go in on Sunday and return Tuesday.

The location is TBA but will likely be Mt Rohr basin, Manning or upper Joffre lake.

Destination will hinge on snow and avy conditions.

Access will be at a moderate grade, likely 4 hours +/-.

You should be a very strong intermediate or better skier.Back country newbies and split boarders are welcome.

Requirements , include warm clothes, sleeping bag all camp gear and ski gear.It can drop to -20 C or more

so being prepared is important.

Please make sure your equipped before joining the trip.

AST1 or equivalent is mandatory.

No old analog transceivers ( sorry ).

I'll supply champagne for all.

I'll bring a first aid kit and Sat phone.
