For those of you who haven't climbed at Climb Base5 in Coquitlam, it is Metro Vancouver's largest indoor climbing gym with tall walls and a big lead climbing section.

The meeting time is not fixed, in case you want to join a bit later. I'll aim to be in the gym, near the benches, at 6:40pm. If you don't know me, you can ask the gym staff to help find the BCMC group or you can contact me beforehand to figure something out. Do not send me a text message when you arrive. If you show up later, no worries, find us and join the group.

If you have not climbed at Climb Base5 gym before, you will need to pass a belay test and a lead climbing test in order to lead or lead belay. This is a requirement of the gym.  While it is likely that the more experienced climbers will be happy to share their knowledge, this is not a climbing course.
