Trip Description

I am planning an expedition in Feb 20 for 13 days to climb Aconcagua (6,960 m), the highest mountain in both the Southern and Western Hemispheres. It is located in the Andes mountain range, in the Mendoza Province, Argentina.

Aconcagua is technically an easy mountain if approached from the north, via the normal route. Aconcagua is arguably the highest non-technical mountain in the world, since the northern route does not require ropes, axes, and pins. Although the effects of altitude are severe, the use of supplemental oxygen is not common.

Cost is $3,490 USD (if more than +3 ppl). (50% deposit required by Nov 30th).

For itinerary, and more details please see this link or attached file to this event.

Guide I am talking to for the expedition: http://www.lonelysummits.com/edgar-parra/

Some of my friends climbed with those guides and have highly recommended them to me. So I personally trust them. You can have a chat with them too on the phone if you wish.
