OK, It's long, but it's not THAT long. We'll do it in a day from the parking lot by foot.
Previous scrambling experience a must. We'll need to cross a small pocket glacier and a crux slab, so bring an ice axe and an alpine harness (or diaper harness). I'll bring a 30m rescue line in case someone goes into a slot on the glacier, and maybe we can set up a fixed line on the crux slab if we can find protection. Crampon's are usually optional. Some trip participants have shown interest in using bicycles, but we'll see how everyone else feels about that 1 week before the trip.
12 Hours of hiking, maybe a bit more, but it's mostly on a logging road, then a bushy trail into the alpine. (if we use bikes it will be less...... if no one breaks down)
1786m elevation gain.
Maximum 6 Participants.
Trip may go on Sunday if the weather looks better
