The main creek crossing on the Hanging Lake ski trail has been blown out by winter rainfall events in both of the last 2 seasons.  To prevent this from happening again I plan to build a log bridge across the creek.

Are we ever going to actually build a bridge? Yes! This Sunday I will be heading up to work on a new bridge on the hanging lake trail, a backcountry skiing access trail at Whistler Olympic Park. Sunday’s tasks will be finishing the foundations and winching the stringer logs into place across the main span. If you've been waiting on the sidelines waiting for the exciting part of this project then now is the time to jump in.
