Hoping to possibly complete the trail clearing work on this trip. We'll be driving 11 km up the Furry Creek FSR and then clearing the upper 1/4 of the treed section of trail. We have a chainsaw and brush saw. Anyone else can help by bringing additional tools, using loppers, trimmers, etc and/or tossing the cut brush off the trail.
The road is in good shape. There are some inclines that are not too steep however 4WD is recommended. No significant potholes or loose rock on the road.
You will need some work gloves, eye protection, hearing protection (recommended), helmet (recommended), sturdy boots.
Bring lunch and water, etc.
If we have enough of a turnout we could complete the worst sections of the trail.
