This Saturday, July 28, let's bike along the Seymour Mainline,get up in the alpine, luxuriate in sunny tarns, and bag Coliseum and Burwell.  I would like to return by mid- to late-afternoon.

The plan is to meet near Dempsey Rd and Lynn Valley Road (close to Lynn Headwaters Park) a bit before 7am to try to beat the heat.  We will then bike 30 minutes to the trailhead, lock up the bikes, and start the hike in earnest. The hike is steep and demanding (10km round trip with 1500m elevation gain and loss) but hikers are rewarded with stunning views spanning 100s of kilometres.

Participants should be fit, have (at least) the 10 essentials, and be ready for a long-ish day of sunny, hot weather.  Bonus points for anyone bringing sweet treats.  I look foward to this adventure!
