Anyone interested in learning survival skills, love the outdoors or just want to have an advantage in a bad situation, start fire without matches even in a rain storm, purify water using your socks, turn your watch into a compass , how to make a shelter, over 100 uses for a garbage bag including crossing a lake, how to use gps, map or a compass when your phone or electronics fail or die. HOW TO SURVIVE ANY DISASTER! We can teach you to not only survive but enjoy the beauty of the wilderness taking the fear out of the wilderness and replacing it with confidence awareness and most of all FUN! Ages 14 and up.

We will also learn pretrip planning, gear, animal safety, mental preparedness and crisis decision making. This course is the prerequisite for Intermediate Survival Wilderness, a classroom and weekend long practical course coming soon.

This course offers 8 hours of instruction, with 6 hour classroom time and 2 hour outside navigational experience. Please bring a good compass, food, water, clothing outdoor appropriate.

Course fees are $150 plus tax, minus 15% for BCMC members, equalling $133.88 For bcmc members.. We take credit card, e transfer, or cash. In order to secure a seat, a deposit of 25% must be paid.
