We'll be driving up 11 km Furry Creek and then clearing the trail to the hut as far as we can. (I have the key to the Furry Creek gate.) We have a chainsaw. Anyone else that can help by bringing additional tools, using loppers and/or tossing the cut brush off the trail.

The road is in good shape. There are some inclines that are not too steep so a 2WD vehicle would be okay, I think. No significant potholes or loose rock on the road.

You will need some work gloves, eye protection, hearing protection (recommended), helmet (recommended), steel toed boots (optional).

Bring lunch, bug dope, sunscreen etc.
