The idea is to hike into the cabin with five days of food to explore the country around it and put a little work into the cabin and trail (1 day). We would camp by the cabin and use it for cooking as they have stoves and pots available. There are options for camping by the lakes and organizing your own adventures. The trail in is about 9 km of old logging road to Lizzie Lake and the a two hour trail up to the cabin. Elevation gain is about 1200m or 12 km which makes for a fullish day with back packs. The group will be moderately fast paced. This is a dog friendly hike, but your dog must be friendly and under control as there are bears in the area. The trail head is 2wd accessible with about 15 km of graded gravel down the side of Lillooet Lake. The cabin has room for up to six people, but tents may be preferable. We could arrange to do communal dinners as the cabin is fully outfitted with tables, chairs, cutlery etc. for a group of ten. No need to carry that stuff in.
