This is a two day course put on my the Mountain Skills Academy and Adventures (MSAA; formerly Whistler Alpine Guides) for skiers, mountaineers, and backcountry travelers who want to refine their skills in navigating alpine terrain, regardless of conditions and weather. The course will cover using topographical maps, compass, online tools, guidebooks, and GPS.

This course does not have any prerequisites. The course will be held in Squamish, with the exactly location to be determined closer to the course date. 

The cost for this course is $144.50 + GST - which is 50% off regular price for BCMC members.
