This is a great conditioning hike (short/steep) to get you ready for some of the longer climbing approaches this season. I'll probably be bringing some extra weight (water) to get used to a heavier pack again. Currently, the snow line starts about 80% up the mountain...melting fast. (micro spikes and poles recommended). I plan on hiking down as well unless the group consensus is that the chalet is a better option ($10 fee for chalet).
