"After 7 months living in the Dolomites of Italy last year, I set out in April 2017 with my backpack, camping gear, some climbing gear, and a half-hatched idea: my plan was to hitchhike and climb around Europe, and my timeline was uncertain. During my 6-month journey I got into shenanigans like getting caught in an Spring snow storm in the Italian Apennini, accidentally finding my way into an English hippy community in rural Portugal, and, of course, lots of climbing.

Come join us at the April BCMC Social as I share a bit about my experience dirtbagging in Europe along with pictures, and come ask any questions you might have about travelling and climbing in Europe on the cheap. We're looking forward to seeing everyone there!" 

The Social will take place at the Vancouver ANZA Club main floor (corner of 8th Ave and Ontario) on Tuesday, April 10th. The entrance door will open at 7 pm and we will begin the evening at 7:30 PM with an Update from the Executive.  Please note: you must be 19+ years old to attend and may be asked to sign-in at the door to ensure we don't exceed 117 people in the hall. Once at capacity we will be forced to turn attendees away. Feel free to grab a drink at the Bar before the social starts.
