7am Chevron Station 3030 Boundary Rd or 7:30am 933 Tupper Ave Coquitlam
The route (an old road) starts at the Zopkios pull-out on the Coquihalla and heads to the saddle between Zupjok and Iago into the meadows and then up a steep sub-alpine ridge. From up top we'll savor some lunch, some views and for those on skis perhaps a couple turns. We'll likely bypass Ottomite or else use it as an ottoman.
I'll be on snowshoes this trip. If you're a beginner backcountry skier this is a good opportunity to either comfortably check out this route on snowshoes or to ski another destination that is rated the same difficulty as Zoa or Needle in the Baldwin guidebook.
The pace will be an easy going moderate-moderate pace.
GPS tracks are available and I've been to the meadows junction previously but some route finding may be needed.
