Last year a route was made from the cabin south to Hemonius creek. This trip will be working north from the old original trail head to join up with work done last year.

Purpose. To have the trail staying on one side of north creek eliminating 2 problematic north creek crossings and a large swamp. Once completed the clubs north creek cabin will be more readily accessible. We will be camping in old growth forest part of the way in.

NEW. Your cabins and trails committee have been working hard and have come up with this plans; on this trip; to start and hopefully build and install a cable car crossing over north creek. the construction of the cable car is now underway. The possibility of being flown in to the work site could occur. Depending upon budget restraints and helicopter landing site availability. Volunteers are going in to evaluate the terrain tomorrow and a meeting will be held this coming Thursday night to finalize plans.

Participants may stay all week; or; part of it. you may leave mid week or time permitting join us mid week. Whatever you are able to do will be helpful. The north creek cabin has seen fewer visits over these past years due to access difficulties. Your clubs cabin and trails committee has been working getting data together on possible bridging ideas, and  has found possible placement places to build. We have the GPS co-ordinates for these places. One other thing we would be doing is going to these places and; time permitting; starting to prep then for future construction. We have also been in touch with the local logging company on the option of having one of their big heli logging machines deliver logs to these bridging sites once they are ready to receive them. Lets make this a fun outing and reestablish a new trail to the clubs north creek Cabin.
