The plan is to tour up into the alpine Sunday

Possibly take a quick run.Monday tour up higher and ski until we feel we need to head out.

Dinner in Pemby or Squamish on the way back.

You should be comfortable with winter camping and carrying the required gear.

This trip will go at a moderate pace. (if your a jack rabbit this isnt your trip.) Safety will be paramount to summitting or skiing. Avy conditions will change with the sunshine forcasted. Progress will be based on our ongoing risk assesment.

Baldwin indicates a long approach with excellent potential for long runs on the glacier.

Required gear includes

headlamp and spare batteries, beacon, shovel ,probe, extra clothes including gloves or mitts ,sleeping bag rated to minus 10 C or better

Required skills: AST1 or better, capable of skiing  black diamond resort runs
