Plan is to head up the Hanging Lake trail from the Biathlon Parking lot at the Whistler Olympic Park and summit Gin Peak. Then ski back down to the trailhead. Hope to leave before the Whistler Olympic Park closes. 

Baldwin lists the total distance at 10K with 900m elevation gain. Avalanche safety gear is mandatory (shovel, beacon and probe). 

Trip is dependent on avalanche conditions.
