Trip Description

Approach via the fire lookout road to Windy Joe. On the descent down the trail there is the possibility for advanced skiers to cut switchbacks by skiing straight down through the trees.

Oriented for advanced intermediate or better skill level.

Required equipment: headlamp, spare batteries, snow shovel, beacon, probe, skis.

Possibly suitable for snowboarders.
