Approach via the Frosty Mountain trail to the larch meadows. Possible ascent of Frosty Mountain depending on weather, snow, avalanche conditions and group capability. Possible bowl skiing from the ridge and climbing back up again (yo-yo). On the descent down the trail there is the possibility for advanced skiers to cut one or two switchbacks by skiing straight down through the trees.

Oriented for advanced intermediate or better skill level.

Required equipment: headlamp, spare batteries, snow shovel, beacon, probe, skis.

Possibly suitable for snowboarders.
