Apologies for the last minute notice, but a window of opportunity appeared and Sunday's weather is looking nice, so good chance to hone some snow anchor mountaineering skills.
This is not a course - and I'm not teaching - however novices and experts alike are welcome; you should already have some experience and familiarity with your equipment along with:
The Plan:
Skin up a short distance behind Seymour ski resort to some micro terrain that is steep enough for us to use for the pitch up the snow and to then rap down, but manageable in terms of risk (fall & avalanche-wise ). It's going to be a very light work out (~40 minutes up, less down) and we'll be standing around for a few hours, so dress warmly
