Celebrate Capilano University's 50th from the summit of Canada’s highest mountain. As a lead-up to next year’s anniversary activities, we are canvassing the community to see if there is interest in a mid-May 2018 ascent of Mt. Logan. The idea would be have a mixed group of students, faculty, staff and alumni place the Cap 50th anniversary flag on the top of Logan (the second highest mountain in North America at 5,959m).

The plan is to partner with a commercial guiding company to provide guide services and work with sponsors to keep the cost down. Depending on participant preference, the trip could either be on skis or snowshoes.
