Let's go skiing near Black Tusk. We'll park at Rubble Creek. If conditions allow, we'll skin up to near the top of Black Tusk. It's about 11km with 1600m of elevation gain to the top.  If snow stability is poor, we'll stick to the gentler gladed slopes just North of Taylor Meadows.

Gear required: Avalanche gear (transceiver, probe, shovel), AT, tele, or splitboard equipment, headlamp

Optional gear if you want to scramble to the summit of Black Tusk: crampons, ice axe

Welcome additional gear: GPS, PLB, camera, first aid kit.
