Proposed agenda:
1) Leave Vancouver around 7 am and check out turkey sale at Blackcomb daylodge: https://tinyurl.com/y97qh686
2) Somewhere between 10-11, take gondola to Rendevous Lodge - possibly eat lunch in lodge (you can buy lift ticket online in advance to save $)
3) Hike 50 mins to the glacier and practice glacier travel techniques, including rope work, crevasse rescue, and anchors (ice screws, t-slot)
4) Return to the lift well in advance of the 5 pm last download
You should have formal mountaineering, glacier travel and/or crevasse rescue education.

This is not a course and I'm not instructing, but rather looking to hone existing skills and knowledge by practicing in a relatively benign setting with others who also have similar training or equivalent experience.
This is suited for experienced mountaineers with the formal training noted above and who are well-acquainted with the requisite gear. You MUST already know the required rope skills, how to belay, and how to perform crevasse rescue. Please ensure you respond asap to the trip planning questions to assist the organizer with logistics.
