Wilderness First Responder (80hr) with Canada West Mountain School

This nationally recognised certification course is well respected as a standard for many guiding and outdoor industry leaders. Designed to provide students with the tools to make critical medical and evacuation decisions in remote locations, teaching topics include – but are not limited to – patient assessment and long-term treatment, wound management, extremity injuries (e.g. fractures), medical illnesses, environmental injuries, with emphasis on injury prevention and decision-making in a Wilderness environment.
