We will attempt the Northwest Ridge (III, 5.4) of Sir Donald.
The route is quite long and very exposed. You must be comfortable with exposure, soloing long sections of 4th to easy 5th and simulclimbing. There will also be much downclimbing and many rappels as we will most likely reverse a good portion of the route.
We are aiming for two parties of two for ease of simulclimbing.
We will leave early Saturday, and either hike in to the base and bivy or sleep in one of the campgrounds near Rogers pass. Climb on Sunday (pre-dawn start if in campground). Return Monday.
The trip will only go if the forecast is stellar, as this is not a route you want to do in the rain.
