Golden Ears Scramble
This is a safe scramble even if it's rainy. The trail goes through the forest for about 10km and the last 1.5km top out is on rock and some snow fields. A small emergency shelter before the summit will be a good place to have a quick tea/snack and move along. This trip is a fall back plan to the Sky Pilot trip which is rescheduled due to weather to July 29th.
We will likely get few views as it does call for rain and the summit will likely be in the clouds but it's a good excuse to get outside and practice, get your exercise, and enjoy some good company. We might even throw in some ice axe self arrest practice.

We shall then convoy to the trail head at West Canyon Trail. Parking is $5 and there is a gate (7am to 10pm) which will ideally start us hiking at 8am.
