This course is intended for folks who want to learn the basics of traveling on snow and ice in the mountains. Hiking and/or backpacking experience is an asset, as is a good level of fitness. This is the perfect opportunity to get ready for the upcoming summer mountaineering season!

This course is taught by Mountain Skills Academy & Adventures by a professional ACMG certified guide. MSAA is offering a special price for BCMC members of $264 + GST (regular price for non-members: $399 + GST). This course will run with a minimum of 6 participants. Please note, a Whistler Blackcomb backcountry pass may be required for one or both of the days.
