Hoping to climb Mt. Baker for the first time on the first weekend of July taking the Coleman Deming route. 

I just completed the basic mountaineering course with the BCMC and I'm keen on putting my skills to practice. While I am ok organizing the trip logistics and leading it, I am hoping to find a more experienced climber to come along to provide advice.

Ice axe, crampons, and helmet required. Don't forget passport and medical insurance.

We will share tents, ropes and cars. I will organize carpools once we have the participants list to reduce the number of cars that have to cross the border (and save some carbon from going into the atmosphere).

First day we will drive to the trailhead and ascend to the 7,000 ft camp.

Next day - early start for the summit at 10,781 ft, and return to Vancouver.
