This course is a combination of intro courses culminating an ascent of the Stawamus Chief. The course lasts a week, but consists of 6 climbing days. This allows for a rest day or a bad weather day. 

Topics include:
- safety systems
- crack climbing technique
- gear placement and removal
- belay techniques
- anchor building and use
- rappelling
- intro to multi-pitch climbing
- systems to maximize efficiency on longer routes
- rock rescue
- basic aid climbing
- training for rock climbing

This course is taught by Rock Solid Adventures by a professional ACMG certified guide. Rock Solid is offering a special price for BCMC members of $750 + GST (regular price for non-members: $1080 + GST).
