• This event is organized by BCMC volunteers and is open to EVERYONE. BCMC members, friends, family, and non-members alike are welcome to compete or just socialize. While everyone is encouraged to participate in the cook-off, it is not mandatory to do so. We do ask however that if you are NOT planning to compete that you bring a potluck dish to share.

• While this will be a very low-effort event, we are looking for help with set-up and take-down. If you want to volunteer with the event planning, or have specific questions, please contact pandreyc@hotmail.com or socials@BCMC.ca

• We (BCMC) will provide burgers, water, soft drinks, condiments, garbage bags, cups, plates, cutlery, and napkins. Games will be available and if there is a game you would like to bring you are welcome to. Please make sure that you bring your own blankets, chairs, and most importantly good vibes.

• To stay true to our good backcountry manners, let us all ensure that garbage is in the garbage bags, wild children are supervised, and we are courteous to one another.

• Please be aware that alcohol is not permitted at this event.

• Parking is limited, however available at the Trout Lake Community Center and adjacent streets

• Washrooms will be available at the park

• Shelter is available in case of rain

• Beach, Lake, Playgrounds, Concession nearby (no inflatables allowed)
