Trip Description

Description: Are you prepared to deal with someone who gets injured or sick in the backcountry? This 2-day Intro to Wilderness First Aid course focuses on medical concepts and basic life support skills that will help you react in a backcountry emergency. Learn to improvise 1st Aid systems with a variety of common materials available to you on most outdoor activities. Intro IWFA is targeted to outdoor enthusiasts who participate on day or weekend trips.The course will be split between classroom and field sessions, please come prepared for conducting field simulations outdoors in all weather conditions.
