Take advantage of a good weather forecast to get some spring turns on the Duffey. The plan is to ski up Cerise Creek early and get some turns on the Matier NW face .
The forecast looks like temperatures should drop today, increasing stability, but we will have to evaluate the terrain and snowpack as we go and be ready to turn around.
This will be a fast paced trip, and the skiing is on demanding, steep slopes 45 degrees and above. This trip isn't suitable for beginners.
An ice axe is recommended, you may also want ski crampons.
