6 am at St Davids (HWY 1 and Taylor Way, West Vancouver)
According to Baldwin, the best time of year for Mt Jimmy Jimmy is between March and May, so why not give it a try at then end of April? I am relatively new to BC, and have not been to Mt Jimmy Jimmy, so there may be some bushwacking, some hiking and even some route finding required. Baldwin describes the objective as "an excellent spring ski-mountaineering trip with a long, continuous descent." That also implies a long continuous ascent!
You'll need skis (or a split board), food for the day, beacon, shovel, and probe. AST-1 or equivalent (e.g. AIARE Level 1) is required.
