Note, I have a soft commitment for Saturday and we may have to leave on Sunday. But I will take into consideration if you are taking time off of work to go on the trip. The plan is to drive up Rutherford creek as far as possible and then use the snowmobile route to access the glacier and ski towards Longspur Peak and climb it. If the weather window is short, we can go back the way we came. If the weather window is good we can descend off of Longspur peak to the glacier to it's west and then ski northwest, west and then south on the major Pemberton icecap glacier towards Torah peak, Little Ring and Callaghan peaks and then to Callaghan lake from where there is a 13 km road to the Callaghan base/Alexander base. If time and weather permits we may attempt to ski up Torah and Callaghan mountains. Also see my attached Google earth file of my planned route (Note, it also shows my original planned route from Miller creek which I have changed to Rutherford creek) or ask me and I can send it to you. Since good weather is required for this ski traverse, it may be postponed a week or two or possibly till next year if the weather is bad. The pace will be slow (because I am slow) and steady. Also we will take lots of breaks to regroup and check out the route. I think it will take us about 4 days but we may want to stretch out that food for 6 days, in case of emegency.
