The 13th annual Yosemite Facelift is from Tuesday September 26th - Sunday October 1st. An opportunity to help care for an important park, and have some fun. See http://www.yosemiteclimbing.org/facelift-2017/ Its lots of fun. Helping run a big event, trailwork, picking up tourist and post-industrial garbage, habitat restoration, etc. Draw prizes, free camping, free evening social events. Plus climbing and hiking. The Facelift itself is from the 26th - 1st, but the plan is to arrive early, take it easy for a few days, help through the Facelift, then stay afterwards for more climbing and hiking. I'll probably leave Vancouver on September 22nd, and return October 7th, making it two weeks.
