Manning Park Ski Tour: Mt Kelly ~12 km
Manning Park Ski Tour Dude :)
Are you ready to experience the amazing views in Manning Park on a blue bird day?
Snow Alert! Fresh snow on Friday and Saturday! Blue skies expected on Sunday.
Join us on another easy to moderate backcountry ski tour. We will climb up Mt Kelly from Allison Pass. From the peak we will spend some time skiing along the ridge, taking in the views and dreaming about skiing other areas once the avi conditions drop. The pace will be friendly with re-grouping. Remember to bring a headlamp suitable for skiing in case we return after dark.
This trip is suitable for newer backcountry skiers with an intermediate level of downhill skiing ability. We will be stopping at key points during the trip to promote Avalanche Awareness.
Mandatory equipment: Avi gear: Transceiver, Probe and Shovel. Headlamp suitable for skiing.
