Clinker ridge is West of Garibaldi Lake it. It leads up to Clinker Peak and Mt Price from the West. We'll park at the Chek Canyon rec site, and skin up Conroy Creek FSR to Clinker ridge. Expect about 15km and 1400m elevation gain to the top.
This trip should be okay for fit people newer to touring. It will be long, but we will stick to low angle terrain. If conditions allow, we'll summit Clinker Peak, but I wouldn't count on it. I am hopeful that we will reach the unnamed subsummit West of Clinker Peak. A comment on bivouac from January about the Conroy Creek FSR says "snow all the way to the highway. Alder currently well buried. Easy skiing to the top of the road, took us 5 hrs. Another 1.5 hrs to treeline on Price. Gorgeous views, but it is definitely the long scenic route into Garibaldi Park." Older comments indicate that without snow, the alder is thick. Hopefully it will be well buried.
