We will try and hike a portion of the WSL trail. 

This trip will be rescheduled to the following weekend if the weather forecast, access road conditions, or avalanche forecast is not favourable. 

The access road is steep, rough and exposed.  The road needs to be plowed for access to occur.  I will determine if the road is clear before the trip.

I have a 4x4 and can provide rides for two people.  I will ask one rider to act as a navigator.  Please reach out to other trip participants for a ride to rendezvous point at.  See trip roster for names and contact info. 

If you are getting a ride with me, please pack light since I don't have a lot of space in my jeep.

Bring cash if you are getting a ride from someone.

It is easy to get to my home the rendezvous point by transit.  Just take a bus along west 4th or Broadway and get off at Burrard St and walk a short distance. 

If you are driving, please find access road info below: The Mamquam River Forest Service Road (FSR) leaves Highway 99 about 1 km south of Squamish at the Apron parking lot (Stawamus Chief Provincial Park).  Follow for 13.2 KM then turn left on to the Skookum Dam Road.   Continue 6.6 KM to near end of road at the Dam and parking area at a locked yellow gate.
