Trip Description
Leisurely beginner ski tour to Burton Hut via Garibaldi Lake. Approx. 30km return trip with 1100m of elevation gain. The plan is to skin up the regular trail, cross the lake to the hut, relax and enjoy the scenery. Spend Saturday night at the hut, and head out late Sunday morning. Number of participants is limited to 6, as there is a group of 6-8 already registered to stay at the hut on Saturday night.
Fees: 5$/night to the hut + $10/night to BC Parks
