This is not a Avalanche Canada course.  It is a workshop based on material prepared by Frank Baumann and Jay MacArthur.  Frank developed the first course for the FMCBC and updated the information about seven years ago.

On Saturday the workshop will run from 8:30 am until about 4 pm.

At North Shore Alliance Church, 201 East 23rd, North Van

On Sunday we will meet at St. David's church at 7 am and head to Paul Ridge for to study snow profiles and dig some pits.  Come with you standard ski touring gear on Sunday.
