Change the year in BC style!

A couple of us will head out to Elfin Lakes relatively early on Saturday 31st. We will skin up to the cabin (which is full) and build the best igloo the area has seen in years, tucked away from the potentially loud party for those who want to sleep. I do expect you to contribute to a fancy dinner!!

We will be on skis/splitboards, if you want to snowshoe please say so and we can form a snowshoeing group within the trip.

Turns possible depending on conditions and time available.

Consider your 10 essentials when preparing for the trip - it might be an easy trail but it's backcountry nonetheless and the weather will be changeable.

Theoretical limit of 8 for the trip, although the more people come, the more igloos we will build and maybe do a little competition ;) Expect architectural finishes, candles/cosy lighting, warm wine and powerful statements with your structure.
