Forecast is calling for 30cm + of new snow on the Coquihalla over the next couple of days so I am hoping to get out and take advantage. The objective will be to ski the east side of Flatiron if weather and avi conditions permit. Take a look at Baldwin's guide (page 193 in the 3e) for the route description.
Keep in mind that it is still early in the season and snow coverage could still be lacking in some areas but with any luck things will be decent higher up.
It will be my first tour of the season other than a few laps on Seymour so pace will be easy going with lots of time for breaks.
You will need to have AST-1 or equivalent, and you'll need a shovel, beacon, probe, AT skis (or splitboard) and skins.
