Trip Description

The December meeting of the BCMC Executive Board and club volunteers has been moved from the ANZA Club to a slightly larger venue at the MEC Head Office "Grouse Room" located at 1077 Great Northern Way, Vancouver.  The start/end times have also changed and the meeting is now set to begin at 6:30pm sharp and end before 9:30pm.  NOTE: we *must* be out of the building *before* 9:45pm.

Those attending can expect a variety of club-related agenda items to be discussed and possibly voted on.  Those attending who are not a Director of the Board may not raise questions or comment on issues unless invited to by an attending Director.  For those who can't attend, the "Minutes" (i.e. notes) for the meeting will be posted on the club website by the Secretary after the Executives who attended the meeting have read, possibly corrected, and approved the minutes for accuracy. 

Please note: seating will be limited to 24 members because that is the maximum number of people the "Grouse Room" can comfortably hold.  Seating will be reserved for the 10 Directors on the Board.  Extra seating will be allocated in the order members register for the event.  We ask any non-Executive members interested in attending to please register here *and* contact either the BCMC President or Vice-President at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting start date/time.  In your message, inform us if you would like to make a short presentation about some BCMC volunteer work you recently completed, currently are working on, or would like to start on.  We look forward to hearing from you, thank you.

IMPORTANT: this meeting requires a minimum of 6 Executive Team members to achieve quorum. The meeting may be cancelled if less than 6 Executives have signed-up by Monday at 7pm, i.e. 24 hours before the meeting is scheduled to begin.  Executive Team members, please send your optional monthly update reports by the Sunday evening, along with any requests for agenda items and/or motions that you intend to present at the meeting, thank you.  Whomever is chairing the meeting will distribute the agenda by Monday evening.
