Let's go check this new snow.

It has fallen a ton of snow in the alpine recently. Quality might not be over the top yet, but FL are going down, so who knows.

Expect some hiking to the snow.

Plan is to drive as high as we can towards Brandywine, but how high we go depends on the vehicles we will have. Then hike the rest and then see.

***** This being most likely your first ski trip of the season, make sure you test your gear before coming:

- battery status of your beacon?

- bindings working?

- do you have a system to attach your skis on your backpack for the hike?

- did you remember to bring your skins?

- Beacon, shovel, probe

- Headlamp (we do not plan on coming back at night, but days are short these days and it is better to be prepared)

- AST1 or equivalent or years of experience touring

- food, water and clothes for a day in the snow
